Last Chance to See, Douglas Adams

One of my very, very favorite books in the whole world by one of my favorite authors, made sadder now because as I read the chapter about the endangered Yangtze dolphin I know the conservation efforts don't work and the poor thing goes extinct. Still, the prose is hilarious and touching, and I wish DNA was still around to do non-fiction pieces for nature magazines today.
