The Once and Future King, T. H. White

How had I never read this? I am not sure. I always assumed that Disney was fucking up the portrayal of Merlin, but as it turns out this book goes exactly how the cartoon goes. My bad!

It's an interesting meta-look at the legend in the context of WWII, and I really liked it, although it took forevvvvvvvvvvvvvvver to read for some reason. I was sort of sad that the last half of the story is totally not about Arthur at all, but, eh, that's the way the story GOES. What can you do?
