This book has two (non-fiction) plots; one is about a doctor who murdered his wife in London around the turn of the century; the other one is about how Marconi invented radio signals. Weirdly, the Marconi half of the book is more compelling, probably because he was such a crazy fuck up. I mean, the murder part is creepy, but it's just the one killing. After Devil in the White City that seems pretty anticlimactic.
